The Ferret gave me my first professional jobs as an illustrator. Hard-hitting journalism focused on social issues in and around Scotland, The Ferret remains one of the clients I am proudest to have done work for.
The Ferret have often reached out to me to provide illustrations for articles that require human connection, but cannot show photographs of individuals for fear of compromising their safety. Through working with The Ferret, I have learned to represent survivors of some of the worst injustices sympathetically but anonymously through visual storytelling.
